How to Use the Chip Anatomy Explorer

Select any two chips from the Chip A and Chip B dropdowns — choose from a range of CPUs, SoCs, and AI accelerators spanning Apple, AMD, Intel, Qualcomm, and NVIDIA — then hit Compare → to generate side-by-side SVG block diagrams of each chip's internal architecture. The diagrams break down the die into color-coded functional blocks: blue for high-performance P-cores, green for efficiency E-cores, purple for GPU clusters, orange for NPU/AI engines, gray for cache hierarchy, and red for I/O and memory fabric. Block sizes scale proportionally to core count, so you can instantly see how compute resources are distributed. Below each diagram, a specs table lists key figures — process node, transistor count, memory bandwidth, NPU TOPS, and TDP — making it easy to compare architectural trade-offs between a power-efficient mobile SoC like the Apple M4 and a data-center accelerator like the NVIDIA H100 or AMD MI300X.
